Wheat ready for harvest on rolling hills

For owners

Selling the business you built is personal.

Our process respects that. It is private, it is paced by you, and it is explained in plain English at every step.

How it works.

You can stop at any point. Nothing moves forward without your say-so.

  1. A private first conversation

We learn what matters to you: your people, your customers, your timing. Nothing is shared without your permission.

  2. A plain view of value

Under a confidentiality agreement we review basic information and give you a straightforward view of price and structure.

  3. Diligence without disruption

We keep requests focused and work around your operating calendar, not ours.

  4. Approvals, prepared

Where the state must approve a sale, we prepare and file what it requires and keep you informed at each step.

  5. A transition on your terms

Stay involved for a period, advise part time, or step away. We plan the handoff with you.

Questions owners ask

Straight answers.

Will my customers see a rate increase?

Rates for regulated utilities are set by the state utility commission, not by the owner. We will walk you through how the approval process works in your state, including how rates are reviewed.

What happens to my employees?

Tell us what matters to you about your team. It is one of the first things we ask about, and we plan the transition with you.

Is this confidential?

Yes. We sign a confidentiality agreement before any business information changes hands, and nothing is shared without your permission.

Do I need a broker?

You are welcome to use one, and we work with brokers and advisors regularly. Many owners also start by talking with us directly. Either way, you are free to talk with other buyers.

What do you need from me to start?

Nothing but a conversation. We will not ask for financial statements in a first call.

Confidential

When you are ready to talk, we are ready to listen.

No documents, no pressure and no obligation. Your accountant or attorney is always welcome in the conversation.
